Nur Hasyim

Nur Hasyim is a sociologist and the founder of the Aliansi Laki-laki Baru movement. He teaches at the Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo in Semarang, Central Java, where he focuses on the sociological aspects of gender and power dynamics. Hasyim argues that sexual violence is not caused by a single factor but is primarily rooted in the imbalance of power between perpetrators and victims. He emphasizes the importance of education, particularly in reproductive health and gender-sensitive interpretations of religious texts, to combat sexual violence.
