Nyamah Dunyan

Nyamah Dunyan is the Chief Executive Officer of SANKOFA Farm in Liberia and a dedicated mother of seven. She is a prominent advocate for women's contributions to the agricultural sector, emphasizing that women play a crucial role in producing staple crops and sustaining local food security. Despite facing significant barriers such as limited access to land, financing, and training, Dunyan continues to drive agricultural production and employment through her farm, which employs over 50 workers. She actively challenges negative perceptions about farming and advocates for greater recognition and support for women farmers.
