Nyny Jhoanna Montaña Rodríguez
Nyny Jhoanna Montaña Rodríguez, a 31-year-old Colombian citizen, was tragically found dead on May 28 in a commercial establishment in Panajachel, Sololá, after being reported missing since May 23. Her disappearance led to the activation of an alert for missing women in Guatemala, known as the Isabel-Claudina alert. Preliminary investigations revealed that her body was discovered inside a freezer at the location, and as of now, the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif) has not disclosed the cause of death.
