Octavio Ortiz Luna

Octavio Ortiz Luna was a Salvadoran priest who became a martyr for his commitment to social justice and the poor. He was assassinated in 1979 alongside four young catechists during a retreat, in a brutal attack by military forces amid the persecution of church leaders advocating for the marginalized. His legacy continues to inspire faith and activism in El Salvador.
