Odette Curtis-Scott

Odette Curtis-Scott is the chief executive of the Overberg Renosterveld Trust (ORT), a conservation organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the critically endangered renosterveld ecosystem in South Africa. Under her leadership, the ORT has made significant strides in securing vital habitats for endangered species, including the black harrier. Curtis-Scott has been instrumental in the recent acquisition of a 270-hectare site known as Goereesoe, recognized for having the highest density of black harrier nests.
