Ofer Thompson

Ofer Thompson is a newborn Thompson's gazelle who was recently found alone at the Ramat Gan Safari. After being discovered by a visiting family, he was temporarily taken in and later returned to the area where he was found. Unfortunately, despite the efforts to reunite him with his mother, he was later found deceased. This incident highlights the natural behavior of gazelle mothers who often leave their young hidden in vegetation while they search for food, a practice that can lead to misunderstandings about the wellbeing of seemingly abandoned young animals.
