Oksana Myško

Oksana Myško hails from Odesa, Ukraine, where she lived with her husband and two children until the onset of war in 2022. Her family's small business was destroyed by a Russian bomb, which also claimed the lives of two employees. Seeking safety and better opportunities, Oksana relocated to Slovakia with her ailing daughter and a friend, leaving her husband and son behind. Despite facing prejudices in her new environment, she also received generous support during her difficult transition.
