Oksana Sadovenko

Oksana Sadovenko is a Ukrainian visual artist and recent graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. Since fleeing Ukraine due to the Russian invasion, she has been actively involved in the art scene in Slovakia, creating works that explore the symbolism of pigeons as a representation of peace and resistance. Sadovenko's experiences as a teacher and her reflections on her cultural identity and the impact of war heavily influence her art, which has been exhibited both locally and internationally.
