Ola Rian

Ola Rian is a former Norwegian army captain and co-founder of Norsewear, a knitwear company that specializes in using New Zealand wool to create high-quality socks and hats. After moving to New Zealand in the late 1950s, Rian established the brand in Wellington with his partner Shirley, later relocating production to the town of Norsewood, where he has played a pivotal role in promoting local jobs and sustainability in the textile industry.
