Olaf Hampel

Olaf Hampel is a former Olympic champion bobsledder from Germany, celebrated for his success in both the 1994 and 1998 Winter Olympics. After his competitive career, he became a coach, specializing in the development of athletes in sliding sports. Hampel is currently working with Australian monobob athlete Bree Walker as her push coach ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics, focusing on enhancing her start technique and overall performance in the sport.
