Olayeni

Olayeni was a tenant in the Oriyangi area of Ibadan, Oyo State, who tragically lost his life following a violent dispute with his landlord over rental payments. The incident, which occurred on September 3, 2025, escalated when a friend of the landlord intervened, leading to Olayeni being struck and subsequently collapsing. Despite prompt medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the hospital, prompting an investigation by the Oyo State Police Command, which has since arrested the landlord and his associate.
