Oleksandr Afanasiev

Oleksandr Afanasiev is a major in the Ukrainian army and the commander of the K2 brigade's Uncrewed Ground Vehicle (UGV) battalion, which he claims to be the world's first. Under his leadership, the UGV battalion has been at the forefront of employing armed robots for battlefield operations in Ukraine, utilizing technology such as machine guns mounted on uncrewed vehicles to engage in combat and protect Ukrainian positions during the ongoing conflict with Russia.
