Oleksandr Rylsky

Oleksandr Rylsky is the head of the department of general and applied ecology and zoology at Zaporizhzhia National University. His research focuses on the historical geography of the Great Meadow and the Dnipro basin, particularly in the wake of the Kakhovka dam's destruction, as he analyzes how the area's waterways and ecosystems are evolving and recovering after decades of flooding.
