Oleksandr Tarnashynskyi

Oleksandr Tarnashynskyi is a prominent figure associated with Viktor Medvedchuk's political party, 'Ukrainian Choice.' He was arrested by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in May 2022 on charges of collaborating with Russian special services to undermine the Ukrainian government. His activities reportedly included establishing charitable organizations aimed at facilitating Russian funding for efforts to discredit Ukrainian authorities and prepare for a potential takeover. On May 23, 2025, he was part of a prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia, where he was transferred to Russia alongside 69 others accused of collaboration.
