Oleksandra Bakushina

Oleksandra Bakushina is a Ukrainian designer and entrepreneur who has been living in Slovakia for a decade. After befriending fellow Ukrainian Hanna Maslova, who fled Kharkiv due to the war, Oleksandra was inspired by Hanna's baking talent and decided to partner with her to open a bakery called Maslo in Bratislava. With a focus on offering both Ukrainian and French desserts, Oleksandra has used her design skills to create a minimalist interior for the bakery, while actively engaging in the local community and promoting integration through their business.
