Olena Khokhlova

Olena Khokhlova is a former assistant and public relations officer for Mykola Azarov, the ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine. She has recently been in the news after being found guilty in absentia by a Kyiv court for treason, which included spreading propaganda and materials promoting violence against Ukraine's constitutional order. Khokhlova, who had worked in the Shevchenkivskyi District Administration in Kyiv, was implicated alongside Azarov in disseminating anti-Ukrainian statements and justifying Russian aggression against Ukraine. Following their escape to Russia in March 2024, she was sentenced to ten years in prison with property confiscation for her role in these activities.
