Olexi Jukow

Olexi Jukow is a Ukrainian civilian and humanitarian known for his courageous efforts to recover the bodies of fallen soldiers in the Donbass region, including both Ukrainian and Russian casualties. Despite the dangers of working in one of the most perilous areas of the ongoing conflict, Jukow has dedicated himself to this task out of a deep sense of humanity, believing that every life deserves respect and dignity in death. His organization, Platsdarm, operates in the front lines, often under heavy fire, to ensure that families can have closure for their loved ones.
