Olexiy Petrov

Olexiy Petrov is the director of 'Spetstechnoexport', a state enterprise responsible for defense procurement in Ukraine. Previously, he served as the head of the Counterintelligence Department of the Security Service of Ukraine from 2017 to 2019. Under his management, Spetstechnoexport has accumulated significant debts, reportedly over 25 billion UAH, due to delayed weapon deliveries during the ongoing conflict. His tenure has been marked by allegations of corruption and mismanagement, leading to scrutiny and calls for his removal.
