Olive Diefenbaker

Olive Diefenbaker was the wife of John Diefenbaker, who served as Canada's Prime Minister from 1957 to 1963. Known for her strong support of her husband's political career, Olive played a significant role in public life during her husband’s tenure, engaging in various charitable activities and serving as a keen advocate for women's issues. After John Diefenbaker's death in 1979, she continued to be involved in commemorating his legacy, which includes their shared resting place at the Diefenbaker Canada Centre in Saskatoon.
