Olivia Knowles

Olivia Knowles is a former triathlete from Blackpool who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) after her symptoms were initially mistaken for long Covid. A passionate athlete, she was actively competing in events like the Half Ironman World Championship when she began to notice irregularities in her performance. After undergoing treatments, including a stem cell transplant, she faced a relapse and has since been working to raise awareness and funds for clinical research in AML, demonstrating remarkable resilience and commitment to improving cancer treatment.
