Olivia P. Livingstone is a Technical Officer for Fisheries, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Research Support at the Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF). She is dedicated to promoting transparency and accountability in Liberia’s fisheries sector through informed and ethical journalism. At a recent workshop organized by EJF, she emphasized the need for journalists to deepen their understanding of the fisheries sector, which she described as often overlooked by the media. Livingstone advocates for a stronger culture of investigative reporting, aiming to equip journalists with the skills and knowledge necessary to accurately report on critical issues within Liberia’s fisheries.
