Olubukola Akinwunmi

Dr. Olubukola Akinwunmi is the Director of Banking Supervision at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). He has been instrumental in the CBN's efforts to enhance financial system stability and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Recently, he warned banks against raising capital from illicit sources during the ongoing recapitalization exercise aimed at strengthening the banking sector.
