
Olusoji Fasuba
Olusoji Fasuba is a former Nigerian sprinter who made history as the African record holder in the men's 100m. Born on December 15, 1984, in Nigeria, Fasuba achieved notable success on the international athletics stage, including winning gold at the 2006 Commonwealth Games and the 2005 World Athletics Championships. He is recognized for his speed and competitive spirit, and has now transitioned into a role as a coach and advocate for the development of athletics in Nigeria. Recently, he has been vocal about the need for Nigerian athletics to focus on grassroots development and not overly rely on NCAA athletes.
