Omar Chambergo

Omar Chambergo is the executive director of the Supervisory Agency for Investment in Energy and Mining (Osinergmin) in Peru. He was recently in the news due to his testimony before the Congressional Oversight Committee regarding the stalled Pachachaca 2 Hydroelectric Central project, which has faced significant delays owing to community opposition and lack of progress in construction.
