Omar Mohamed Ahmed Sidique
Omar Mohamed Ahmed Sidique has been appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Sudan, following a recent decision by the head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan. Sidique, a graduate of the University of Khartoum in 1979, has a master's degree in political science and joined the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1980. He has served as Sudan's ambassador to several countries, including Germany, the UK, South Africa, and China, and was a permanent representative of Sudan to the United Nations in New York.
