Omar Noumri

Omar Noumri is the mayor of Castelló de Farfanya, a small municipality in Lleida, Spain. He has won elections in both 2019 and 2023 with an absolute majority representing ERC (Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya). Noumri has been an advocate for improving local infrastructure, notably addressing the unsafe conditions of the local school’s comedor, and is a prominent member of the Eines de Repoblament Rural lobby, which aims to enhance opportunities in rural areas.
