Omar Orellana

Omar Orellana is a former director of the Authority for the Sustainable Management of the Amatitlán Lake Basin (Amsa), having served from 2015 to 2020. He has been vocal about the urgent need to close the Amatitlán landfill, which he argues has exceeded its capacity and life span since 2014.
