Ómar Ricardo Díazgranados Velásquez

Ómar Ricardo Díazgranados Velásquez is a former governor of Magdalena, Colombia, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the Supreme Court for his involvement in organized crime and money laundering linked to the illegal financial pyramid scheme operated by David Murcia Guzmán. Díazgranados was found to have received illicit funds and campaign support from Murcia during his electoral campaign for the 2008-2011 gubernatorial term, in exchange for awarding contracts to related companies.
