Omolora Wilson
Omolora Wilson is the reigning Miss Jamaica Festival Queen 2024, recognized for her commitment to promoting inclusivity and cultural education through her initiative, Signed Sealed Jamaica. The project aims to teach Jamaican culture using sign language, addressing the need for greater understanding and inclusion for the deaf community. Wilson's inspiration for the project stemmed from her experiences as guild president at The University of the West Indies and her observations of the challenges faced by deaf individuals in her hometown of New Market, St Elizabeth. Through partnerships with local schools, churches, and sign language organizations, she seeks to implement this program nationwide.
