Önder Uğuz

Önder Uğuz is an Antalya-based art teacher and licensed guide who has been captivated by the ancient city of Termessos since he first visited as a student in 1996. Known for his passion for archaeology and history, Uğuz offers tours of Termessos, sharing his knowledge about the site’s rich heritage and the impressive ruins that remain from its past. He emphasizes the strategic brilliance of the city's location and the craftsmanship of its ancient inhabitants, the Solyms, who managed to build a formidable city that even Alexander the Great could not conquer. Uğuz enjoys the tranquility and beauty of Termessos, often reflecting on its historical significance while exploring the site.
