Orest

Orest was a 25-year-old Ukrainian soldier who, after being deemed fit for military service despite his poor eyesight, was deployed to the front lines in Donetsk. His mother, Kateryna, believes he experienced severe mental distress during his service, which culminated in his tragic death by suicide, a classification that carries significant stigma and lack of recognition in Ukraine.
