Orit Chapel

Orit Chapel is the mother of the late Roi Chapel, an IDF officer who was killed during a surprise attack by Hamas on October 7. In the wake of her son's death, she shared her experience of the day, expressing her profound sense of loss and pride in Roi's bravery, as he was remembered for his critical decisions that saved the lives of fellow soldiers during the attack.
