Orlando Primo

Orlando Primo is a renowned master drummer and the founder of the Majek Fingers Drumming School, which has been a cornerstone for promoting traditional African drumming since its establishment in Georgetown in 2010. With over 32 years of drumming experience and 17 years of teaching, Primo draws on his family's musical legacy, having learned to play from his eldest brother Kurt. The school not only serves as a cultural hub for the community but also aims to preserve and celebrate African drumming and cultural expressions, with an upcoming upgraded facility set to enhance recreational opportunities for the public.
