Ortens
Ortens, known as Hortense de Beauharnais, was a prominent figure in early 19th-century France. Born in 1783, she was the stepdaughter of Napoleon Bonaparte and the daughter of Joséphine de Beauharnais, Napoleon's first wife. Ortens married Louis Bonaparte, Napoleon's brother, and became Queen of Holland. She was known for her artistic talents and her role in the cultural life of her era. Her legacy includes a notable collection of jewelry, some of which were recently stolen from the Louvre during a high-profile heist.
