Oscar McLennan is a Glasgow-born songwriter and performance artist who has transformed his profound grief over the loss of his three-year-old son, Ian, into a powerful 20-track instrumental album titled 'Snow on the River.' After Ian's tragic death in 2020, McLennan found solace in music, expressing emotions that words could no longer capture. Living in Italy with his wife Erica, he collaborated with composer Martin Tourish to create music that celebrates Ian's life, with performances scheduled in Dublin and Sligo.
