Oscar Uwikunda

Oscar Uwikunda is the Director of the Provincial Bureau of Environment, Agriculture, and Livestock in Gitega, Burundi. He has played a pivotal role in the implementation of the Integrated Approach Pilot – Food Security project, which aims to enhance food production and resilience against climate change in the highlands of Burundi. During a recent visit from a high-level delegation, he highlighted the establishment of a pig breeding center that supports local farmers through improved livestock access.
