Oskar Groning

Oskar Groning was a former SS officer at Auschwitz, known as the 'Bookkeeper of Auschwitz' due to his role in managing the camp's finances. He was tried and convicted in Germany for his involvement in the Holocaust, with the court ruling that being part of the machinery of death was sufficient to establish guilt in relation to the mass murder that occurred there.
