Osman Pașa

Osman Pașa was a distinguished Ottoman military commander during the late 19th century, best known for his defense of the strategic fortress of Plevna against Russian and Romanian forces during the Russo-Turkish War of 1877. His leadership during the Siege of Plevna garnered him both respect and notoriety, as he led his troops through intense battles that ultimately resulted in the surrender of the fortress.
