Otto Octavius

Otto Octavius, also known as Doctor Octopus, is a fictional supervillain from the Marvel Comics universe, primarily appearing as an adversary to Spider-Man. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, he first appeared in 'The Amazing Spider-Man' #3 in 1963. Otto is characterized by his genius-level intellect and his mechanical tentacle-like appendages, which he uses in his criminal endeavors. He is often portrayed as a tragic figure, driven by ambition and obsession, which ultimately leads to his confrontations with Spider-Man. The character gained significant popularity through various adaptations, including the Sam Raimi films, where he was played by Alfred Molina in 'Spider-Man 2.'
