Oumar D. is a 60-year-old teacher from Bamako, Mali, who struggled for years to afford a home for his family of six. After taking out two loans to purchase land and begin construction, he faced significant financial challenges due to rising living and education costs. Thanks to the support of the Caisse Régionale de Refinancement Hypothécaire de l’UEMOA (CRRH-UEMOA) and World Bank financing, he has now achieved his dream of homeownership.
