Ovidiu Bogdan Cîrstina

Ovidiu Bogdan Cîrstina was a dedicated general surgeon at the ‘Sf. Ștefan’ Rovinari Hospital, known for his passion and commitment to patient care. Tragically, he passed away at the age of 48 while attending to a patient, suffering a cardiac arrest despite extensive resuscitation efforts by his colleagues. Cîrstina was well-respected in the medical community and was also loved by his patients. He had a history of cardiovascular issues and had recently transferred to Rovinari from Timișoara, where he was married to a nurse at the same hospital.
