Oxana Malaya

Oxana Malaya is a Ukrainian woman who gained international attention after being discovered in 1991 living among dogs in a rural area of Ukraine. Abandoned by her parents at a young age, she was raised in isolation and developed canine-like behaviors, including barking and walking on all fours. Following her rescue, Oxana underwent rehabilitation and therapy, eventually learning to speak and reintegrate into society, although she continues to face some developmental challenges. Her story is often cited in discussions about the effects of extreme neglect and the resilience of children in adverse conditions.
