With a background in journalism, Adebanjo studied law in the UK and was called to the English Bar in 1961. He was a key figure in Nigeria's political landscape, advocating for democracy, regional autonomy, and restructuring. Adebanjo remained an active voice in politics until his passing at the age of 96.
