Pablo Álvez

Pablo Álvez is a Uruguayan politician affiliated with the Frente Amplio party. He currently serves as an edil (city councilor) in the Department of Salto, where he has been involved in various local governance issues. Recently, he has been in the news for being the recipient of a letter sent to the president of the Junta Departamental, where allegations were made regarding municipal officials allegedly receiving illegitimate benefits, including full-time pay alongside overtime, which raised concerns about political clientelism and misuse of public funds.
