Pablo Barúa

Pablo Barúa is the president of the Commission Pro Municipio, advocating for the creation of the new district of Santa Cecilia in the Guairá region of Paraguay. He has been a key figure in the movement for administrative autonomy for Santa Cecilia, emphasizing that the district's size has made it difficult to receive equitable resource distribution from the larger district of Independencia. Barúa has been working on this project since 2009, aiming to enhance the socio-economic and cultural development of the community through its own governance.
