Paisie Olaru, born in 1897 in Stroiești, Botoșani County, was a revered Romanian Orthodox monk known for his spiritual teachings and ascetic life. He entered the monastic community at Cozancea Monastery in 1921 and later became a priest. His significant influence on Romanian spirituality led to his recognition as one of the newest saints in the Orthodox Church.
