Pál Schmitt

Pál Schmitt is a Hungarian politician and former sports official who served as the President of Hungary from 2010 to 2012. He was a prominent figure in Hungarian politics and held various positions, including the Vice President of the National Assembly and a member of the Fidesz party. Schmitt's presidency was marked by controversy, particularly surrounding allegations of plagiarism in his doctoral thesis, which ultimately led to his resignation.
