Pamela Tulizo
Pamela Tulizo is a photographer and activist based in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Known for her dedication to women's rights and humanitarian issues, she previously gained recognition for her hopeful initiatives aimed at supporting women in her community. However, amid the escalating violence and occupation in Eastern Congo, Tulizo has experienced a drastic shift in circumstances, now living in fear for her life and that of her young daughter, Manlia. The ongoing conflict has forced her to close her association, TES-Tulizo Elle Space, and witness the devastation of her city, where daily life is overshadowed by terror and insecurity.
