Pandit Nehru

Jawaharlal Nehru was the first Prime Minister of India and a key figure in Indian politics before and after independence. He is remembered for his vision of a secular and democratic India, although his policies towards China and Pakistan have been subjects of extensive debate, particularly regarding the 1962 Sino-Indian War.
