Panya Paenglao

Panya Paenglao is a retired civil servant and former royal photographer, known for his significant contributions in documenting royal events in Thailand, particularly those involving Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. Throughout his career, he had the honor of capturing pivotal moments, such as the opening ceremony of the Ubon Ratchathani City Pillar Shrine in 1976 and the royal cremation ceremony of revered monk Luang Pu Cha in 1993. Panya's memories reflect deep admiration for the Queen Mother's humility and warmth towards the public, leaving an indelible mark on his life. Recently, he expressed his sorrow following the passing of the Queen Mother, reminiscing about the impactful projects initiated under her patronage that aimed to uplift the lives of Thai citizens.
